Four-star, top 100 recruit Andre Jackson is the latest high-profile Class of 2020 prospect to trim his list of offers down.
Jackson (Albany, N.Y./Albany Academy for Boys) fielded just over a dozen Division I offers throughout his recruitment, but now he’s down to just five: UConn, UCLA, Syracuse, Maryland, and Iowa.

Among the field of suitors hoping to land Jackson were the Georgetown Hoyas and Marquette Golden Eagles. Georgetown offered the 6-foot-7 wing last December, while the Golden Eagles officially entered the picture a couple of months later.
Jackson was a key player in Albany Academy’s success this past season, as he helped it to a New York State Class A Federation title. He averaged a double-double, with 17.4 points and 10.0 rebounds.
He remained solid on the AAU circuit after, averaging 14.8 points and 7.0 rebounds through 19 games with City Rocks (N.Y.).
