The top-ranked basketball recruit within the state of Oklahoma has narrowed down his list of college choices.
Bryce Thompson (Tulsa, Okla./Booker T. Washington), a consensus five-star prospect and top 25-ranked player within the Class of 2020, announced his finalized list on Thursday night.
He had close to 20 offers, including three Big East ones—DePaul, Marquette, and St. John’s, but he will be focusing on Michigan State, North Carolina, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Oklahoma State, and Arkansas.
So grateful for this opportunity. Thanks to all the coaches that have recruited me thus far. Another step closer.— Bryce Thompson (@B3thompson__) August 30, 2019

DePaul was one of the first schools to offer Thompson, doing so in March 2017. Marquette got involved the following summer, when the Golden Eagles offered in July 2018. As for the Johnnies, they are one of the more recent teams to enter the recruiting scene for Thompson, as they got involved just over a month ago.
This past season, he was named Oklahoma’s Gatorade Player of the Year, as well as Conference Player of the Year, after averaging 19.6 points, 5.0 rebounds, 5.2 assists, and 1.1 steals. He helped Booker T. Washington win the Class 6A state championship.
