Georgetown might have lost out on one Dorsey, but it hopes to get another.
On Wednesday, Caleb Dorsey announced his commitment to Penn State.
Per source, 2020 @HillBBasketball and @teamdurantaau forward Caleb Dorsey has committed to Penn State. Dorsey brings great versatility and toughness to the frontcourt, and could also help the Nittany Lions land his brother Gabe, a high-level 2021 shooter

Dorsey, a 6-foot-7 forward from Pottstown, Pa. and Hill School (Pa.) standout, was first offered by the Georgetown Hoyas in late June. A couple weeks later, Penn State entered the scene and also offered Dorsey and eventually got a commitment from him.
On the same day Georgetown offered Dorsey, the Hoyas also offered his younger brother, Gabe Dorsey. Gabe is a year younger and in the Class of 2021. While his older brother can play the wing or frontcourt, Gabe is more of a shooter and off-ball guard. Gabe is still uncommitted, and whether or not he chooses to follow his brother to Penn State is still not certain, but it can definitely sway things that way.
