The Xavier Musketeers are in the running for another four-star Class of 2020 prospect.
This time, it’s for Ben Carlson (St. Paul, Minn./East Ridge), a versatile 6-foot-9 forward, who announced his final six on Sunday night.
Aside from the Musketeers, he is also considering Iowa State, Wisconsin, Stanford, Purdue, and Minnesota.

Creighton, another Big East school that had offered Carlson, is among the group of schools that was dropped from consideration. It’s a list that includes Davidson, Iowa, Kansas State, Nebraska, Northwestern, Ohio State, and Colorado.
The Bluejays offered him back in May 2018, while Xavier did so six months later in November.
Carlson has planned a number of visits between his six schools. He will lead things off in Cincinnati, when he visits Xavier next weekend. (Aug. 30)
This past season, he averaged 16.6 points and 11.3 rebounds at East Ridge, where he helped the Raptors to their first ever Class AA state playoff appearance.
