Consensus top 50-ranked, Class of 2020 prospect Jaemyn Brakefield announced his top 10 list on Monday.

Brakefield, the 6-foot-8 forward out of Jackson, Miss., had four different Big East offers but won’t be considering any of them moving forward.

His top 10 list includes West Virginia, Michigan, Auburn, Ole Miss, Michigan State, Louisville, UCLA, Oregon, Florida State, and Kansas.

Brakefield fielded over 30 Division I scholarship offers throughout the recruitment process. Georgetown was one of the first to offer the Huntington Prep (W. Va.) star, reaching out in 2017. Seton Hall and Xavier started to get involved that following spring and summer. Meanwhile, St. John’s was the last Big East school to enter the picture, offering him in late May.

This past season, Brakefield was named the Gatorade Player of the Year for West Virginia, after averaging 17.3 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game.
