It didn’t take long for Jordan Kwiecinski (Chicago, Ill./Loyola Academy) and Drake to forge and establish a connection.

Less than a month after being offered by Drake, the 6-foot-8 sharpshooter made his college decision, opting to join the Bulldogs.

The Class of 2020 prospect first drew interest from Drake this past winter, before the Bulldogs finally went ahead to offer him during the July live recruiting period.

Prior to that, he also had offers from Presbyterian, Siena, Air Force, UIC, and his first one—the DePaul Blue Demons.

According to Kwiecinski, despite a limited pool, it seemed like he was really deciding between three schools: Drake, Siena, and Air Force, as they showed the most interest.

His brother, Bennett Kwiecinski, is still undecided and also has an offer from DePaul. Aside from the Blue Demons, he’s fielded interest from Illinois State, Yale, Siena, Lipscomb, Air Force, and Presbyterian.
