After naming his top eight schools for consideration about a month ago, three-star 2020 forward Taj Thweatt (Wildwood, N.J./Wildwood Catholic) has cut his list in half.

On Thursday, Thweatt announced his final four schools, and the Seton Hall Pirates didn’t make the second round of cuts. Moving forward, the Wildwood Catholic standout will just be focusing on West Virginia, Temple, Penn State, and Florida.

Apart from Seton Hall, Miami, Illinois, and Rhode Island were also excluded from the final bunch.

Thweatt took tremendous strides at Wildwood Catholic as a junior. In just his fourth year of playing organized basketball, he elevated his play to new heights, averaging 20.2 points and 10.7 rebounds.
