It’s Sky, for short, and it’s a fitting nickname for 2020 guard Skylar Wicks, a 6-foot-6 point guard with solid length and leaping ability.
He’s caught the attention of the DePaul Blue Demons, who became the latest to offer him on Wednesday night.

Wicks, a 6-foot-6 point guard that currently plays for Clearwater Academy (Fla.) after transferring in from DePaul Catholic (N.J.), is an athletic point guard that is a solid finisher at the basket and a dunker that can wow you with the way he’s able to rise up—seemingly with ease. He has solid court vision and his height allows him to see the floor a lot better the average point guard. He thrives with the ball in his hands when his team is out in transition. Defensively, he’s a disruptive player and he’s able to take on assignments for the various guard positions.
Aside from DePaul, he also holds offers from North Florida, FGCU and FAU.
