Since announcing his intent to reclassify back to 2020, Josh Hall has seen that decision starting to pay off.
After we ushered in the New Year on Jan. 1, Hall (Durham, N.C./Moravian Prep) has received 14 Division I offers, and it doesn’t seem like it’ll be slowing down any time soon.
On Wednesday, the Xavier Musketeers became the latest school to offer the four-star forward.

Aside from Xavier, he has totaled over 20 scholarship offers to choose from, with the likes of Kansas, Florida, Pittsburgh, Texas, Rutgers, VCU, Providence, Oklahoma State, Cincinnati, Virginia Tech, Buffalo, N.C. State, and many others.
The four-star forward is listed at 6-foot-9 and 190 pounds, according to 247 Sports. He planned on reclassifying in order to improve as an all-around player, particularly in bulking up and getting stronger.
As of now, Hall can almost do it all. He can score at a high clip, putting together highflying highlights or showing off a smooth shooting stroke from long range. Hall has great rebounding instincts and isn’t shy when it comes to crashing the glass and cleaning up misses or gathering loose balls. He possesses great upside with the way he’s able to score, rebound, handle the ball, combined with his physical attributes such as his height and length.
His recruitment is no longer a secret, it wouldn’t be surprising if this is just the beginning of a recruiting surge, as more schools take notice.
