According to 247 sports composite rankings, Harris is a top 100-ranked prospect in the class of 2020. He comes from Division I hotbed Gonzaga College High School in Washington D.C.
Harris has been playing at the varsity level since his freshman year, but as an upperclassman he’s really been able to showcase his ability to be at the forefront. He’s a tough 6-foot-1 two-way player that isn’t flashy, but is certainly effective. He has solid instincts on the defensive end of the court and disrupts the passing lane. Offensively, he thrives as a slasher that can finish with either hand and through traffic. He can knock down the long-range shot, but he really shines when he attacks downhill. He’s a confident player with solid handles, one that looks to make the right decision in terms of shooting and passing, and rarely forces things.
Aside from Butler, he also holds offers from Providence, George Washington, Penn State, Old Dominion, Towson, Loyola (Md.), VCU, and James Madison.
