The Xavier Musketeers offered the top 2019 prospect in the state of Pennsylvania recently.

Dahmir Bishop, a combo guard from Philadelphia, received an offer from the Musketeers on Wednesday. Bishop announced that he obtained the offer on his personal Twitter account.

Xavier is just the latest to offer the four-star rising senior. 16 other programs have given him interest to this point, including a few of their Big East Conference peers. The Seton Hall Pirates gave him an offer back in July of last year, while the Providence Friars did so as well back in May. Other programs to offer him to this point include the Texas Longhorns, Cincinnati Bearcats, La Salle Explorers, Rutgers Scarlet Knights and Penn State Nittany Lions.

Dahmir Bishop checks in at 6-foot-4, 175 lbs. to this point. He ranks 83rd in the nation for the Class of 2019 and slides in at 10th among all combo guards. That’s a loaded crop in that Top 10, of course, which features Cole Anthony, Jalen Lecque, Kentucky Wildcats commit Tyrese Maxey as well as Anthony Harris and Gonzaga Bulldogs commit Brock Ravet.

As mentioned previously, he’s also the best player in Pennsylvania, at the moment. That’s ahead of Villanova Wildcats commit Eric Dixon, Oscar Tshiebwe, Seth Lundy and Karim Coulibaly among others, including his teammates at Imhotep Institute Donta Scott and Jamil Riggins.

Bishop is the 19th guard to be offered by Xavier in the 2019 recruiting cycle. He is the 40th player, in general, to receive an offer from Xavier in the cycle.
