Sharpe became the 12th player in the 2020 class to be offered by the Hoyas. He’s also the fourth power forward to receive an offer, joining five-star Jaemyn Brakefield of Huntington Prep (WV), four-star Justin Lewis of Baltimore Poly (MD) and fellow four-star Terrance Williams of Gonzaga (DC). Sharpe is currently unranked on 247Sports, but there is obviously plenty of time for that to change.
Day’Ron, who hails from Winterville, North Carolina, has received plenty of interest from schools so far. The North Carolina Tar Heels are among the 10 programs, including Georgetown, who have offered the 6-foot-8, 220-pound power forward so far. The Clemson Tigers, Florida Gators, UConn Huskies, Wake Forest Demon Deacons, NC State Wolfpack and Virginia Cavaliers have done so, as well. In addition, the Old Dominion Monarchs and East Carolina Pirates have offered Sharpe, as well.
