2018 forward Grayson Carter commits to Georgetown

Georgetown’s class of 2018 is underway!

Patrick Ewing and the Georgetown Hoyas got some good news to start the weekend, as 2018 forward Grayson Carter (Lancaster, TX) tweeted that he would be committing to Georgetown.

Carter is a three-star on 247’s rankings, but a four-star on ESPN’s. ESPN has him as the seventh-best player in Texas in the class of 2018.

He had offers from LSU, Texas A&M, Texas, and Houston, among others.

With the Hoyas facing what will ultimately be a multi-year rebuild, Carter is a very solid foundation for the future. He’s 6’8 and could feasibly still tack on a couple more inches before heading to the Hilltop.

There aren’t a ton of highlights out there on Carter, but some stuff from over the summer can be found below.

Georgetown still has four scholarships open for 2018-19.
