The highly touted point guard will visit MU in October.

Earlier this week, point guard Quentin Grimes kept Marquette among his schools of choice. Now we know when the class of 2018 hooper is taking his visit to Milwaukee. Top100Talent.com’s Twitter account publicized Grimes’ visit schedule on Friday. The tweet indicated that he will be visiting the MU campus on October 20.

It is important to note that October 20 is also the last of the scheduled visits. MU will have to hope that neither Texas, Kentucky nor Kansas make a substantial, impressionable impact on Grimes that is enough to make him commit there.

Quentin Grimes is one of the top point guards in America. He ranks 4th among his peers in the class of 2018. That group of course is headed by Duke commit Tre Jones. Uncommitted point guards Immanuel Quickley and Darius Garland rank 2nd and 3rd, putting Grimes in elite company.

Grimes is a native of The Woodlands, Texas, located on the outskirts of Houston. He attends College Park High School and plays for Basketball University on the adidas Uprising circuit. Among all Lone Star State recruits, there are none better than Grimes in the 2018 recruiting cycle.

Nationally, Grimes ranks 17th in the nation per 247Sports Composite. He is listed ahead of players like Louis King, Syracuse commit Darius Bazley and Arizona commit Jahvon Quinerly, who make up 18, 19 and 20.

Time will tell to see how this plays out. KU, as noted previously, still appears to be the ones most out in front for him.
