On Wednesday, Class of 2018 combo guard Xavier Johnson named his Top 3 on his Twitter account. Johnson included the Georgetown Hoyas of the Big East Conference in the group of three. The Hoyas, along with the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and Nebraska Cornhuskers, are the finalists for Johnson.

Georgetown has been chasing after Johnson since offering him on June 17. As of now, Johnson has yet to schedule an official visit to the campus. He has, however, set up visits to Nebraska and Georgia Tech later this month.
As it stands now, Xavier Johnson is a three-star recruit via 247Sports Composite. He ranks 406th nationally and 16th at his position. A native of Arlington, Virginia, he ranks 11th among all VA recruits in 2018. That group of course is headed by four-star Keldon Johnson along with David McCormack and Will Richardson. All of which attend Oak Hill Academy. Johnson attends Bishop O’Connell, where 2017 Providence commit Nate Watson attended. Kendall Marshall and Melo Trimble are also former attendees.
The Hoyas are looking to build on their 2018 recruiting class. Grayson Carter committed earlier this week, so Johnson theoretically would be the second addition to the class. That is if he were to commit before anyone else.
