Georgetown offered a 2018 four-star prospect on Friday, as the Hoyas can now say they’re in pursuit of Los Angeles shooting guard Jules Bernard. Bernard’s AAU team, Compton Magic, made the announcement on their Twitter account:

Bernard is a four-star, Top 50-prospect in America for 2018, and ranks in the Top 10 both at his position and in the basketball-rich state of California. He ranks eight among all California hoopers, with five-stars Marvin Bagley and Bol Bol leading that list right now, and is sandwiched between Oregon commit Miles Norris and UCLA commit David Singleton whom sit at 7th and 9th respectively. As far as his position, Bernard ranks sixth among his shooting guard peers, with five stars Romeo Langford and Keldon Johnson sitting at 1st and 2nd respectively. Bernard is again sandwiched between the aforementioned Singleton as well as Wisconsin commit Tyler Herro.
The Hoyas are the latest to offer Jules Bernard, joining a group of 19 schools in total. Stanford, Cal, San Diego State, USC, Kansas and Colorado State are just some of the schools in pursuit of the LA shooting guard, who’s certainly looking poised to be one of 2018’s best.
