Norristown, Pennsylvania’s Jake Forrester, a class of 2018 power forward at Westtown School, included two Big East schools in the Top 8 choices he revealed on Friday.
Seton Hall and Xavier are among the teams who made the cut for the three-star Pennsylvania forward, who revealed the list on his personal Twitter account.
I'm blessed to announce my final 8 schools. Thank you to my parents for all the sacrifices they make for me to be in this position. pic.twitter.com/aH0PqXp1yD

The other schools in the running for Forrester reside in the ACC, Big Ten and Atlantic 10 Conferences, as VCU, Virginia Tech, Indiana, Georgia Tech, Pitt and Notre Dame are still receiving interest from the 6-foot-8, 200-pound power forward, who has been starring for the PSA Cardinals on the EYBL Circuit. In 16 games with the Cardinals this year, Forester averaged 7.6 points and 4.1 rebounds per game while shooting 55.1 percent from the field.
Seton Hall and Xavier are still seeking their first 2018 commits, so the news that they remain in the running for Forrester is a semblance of good news, to be sure.
