Class of 2018 power forward Jaxson Hayes of Cincinnati received an offer from the hometown Xavier Musketeers on Friday night. Hayes, an attendee of Archbishoip Moeller High School, announced the offer on his Twitter account:

Hayes has recently burst onto the scene, receiving his first offer back on April 6 by Middle Tennessee. After a slew of schools offered him in April and May, fellow Big East peer Butler offered Hayes as well. The most recent school to offer the 6-foot-9 Cincinnati power forward was VCU, who did so back on July 12.
Xavier has had quite a start to the live recruiting period, offering Ohio four-star recruit Justin Ahrens and learning that they would be hosting four-star New Jersey shooting guard Luther Muhammad in September.
