247Sports’ standalone rankings has Terry listed 125th overall in the class of 2019. The 5-foot-11, 160-pound point guard is a four-star recruit and is also ranked 22nd among all point guards. He also ranks 2nd among all Minnesota recruits, with John Marshall Senior (Rochester, MN) power forward Matthew Hurt, a five-star player and Top 5 recruit in 2019, listed above him.
Last season, Terry helped lead DeLaSalle to an MSHSL Championship and a 29-3 record. He also plays for D1 Minnesota on the Premier Adidas circuit.
Butler is the sixth school to offer so far. The Northern Iowa Panthers, Drake Bulldogs, Nebraska Cornhuskers, North Dakota and Iowa Hawkeyes have also offered Terry. He’s the second point guard in 2019 that BU is pursuing right now along with Zionsville, Indiana’s Isaiah Thompson.
