The Georgetown Hoyas got out in front within the last week for the Class of 2019, offering a pair of prospects. First came C.J. Walker. The news of Walker’s offer came from, among others, Chip Miller of D1 Vision Sports.

Walker is an attendee of Orlando Christian Preparatory School in Orlando, although he’s originally from nearby Sanford. The 6-foot-6, 175-pound wing has already fielded offers from several D1 programs. Memphis, Vanderbilt, Alabama, Florida, LSU, Louisville, Miami and TCU are just some of the schools to offer him to this point. In addition, Rutgers and VCU have offered recently in the month of November.

C.J. Walker is listed as a four-star recruit via 247Sports Composite. The 2019 wing ranks 154th overall in the nation in his class and 14th overall in the state of Florida. Among all small forwards, Walker ranks 47th. 247Sports’ standalone service views him more highly, ranking him 98th overall, 28th at his position and 8th in Florida.
