The Xavier Musketeers’ 2018 recruiting class grew to three this weekend. Kershaw, South Carolina’s Dontarius James committed to the Musketeers and signed his NLI. James made the announcement of his commitment on Sunday morning.

Dontarius James is a 6-foot-7, 215-pound wing who attends Huntington Prep. Originally, James attended Andrew Jackson High School before transferring to the renowned preparatory school in West Virginia, where players like Andrew Wiggins have starred. James ranks 414th overall in the class of 2018 and seventh in the state of South Carolina. Among all small forwards, Dontarius ranks 95th.
James is the third 3-star recruit to commit to Xavier in this cycle. He joins shooting guard Keonte Kennedy and center Jake Walter in the Musketeers’ class.
