Keonte Kennedy has committed to the Xavier Musketeers. Kennedy announced his commitment on Tuesday night, making him the second player to join Chris Mack’s class of 2018.

Keonte is a native of Austin, Texas. He currently attends Westlake High School, and is originally a native of Aurora, Colorado. Kennedy is listed as a four-star player on ESPN’s recruiting service. He plays shooting guard, a position where ESPN has him ranked 25th among all 2018 recruits.
The 6-foot-3, 165-pound Kennedy had offers from Memphis, Nebraska, VCU and Texas Tech prior to his commitment on Tuesday.
Kennedy joins Covington Catholic/Indiana Elite center Jake Walter in Xavier’s 2018 class. Their class currently ranks seventh among all Big East schools.
