Currie is the latest 2018 prospect to be offered by the Musketeers, joining four others with open offers from Chris Mack and his staff right now. Conversely, Xavier joins the Wisconsin Badgers and Michigan Wolverines as teams who have offered the Michigan native to this point.
He is currently listed as a 3-star prospect on 247Sports Composite. He ranks 202nd overall in the class of 2018 and 45th among all power forwards in his class. He also ranks Top 10 in the state of Michigan, listed at eighth at the moment. The state’s class is led by Marcus Bingham Jr. and Brandon Johns, a Michigan State and Michigan commit respectively.
Wisconsin reporter Evan Flood recently made a pick for the Badgers as far as his recruitment goes on the 247Sports Crystal Ball. FWIW, it is the only choice made right now.
