Alex Hemenway, by way of Newburgh, Indiana, received an offer from the Xavier Musketeers. Hemenway, who plays for Castle HS and Pocket City on the AAU circuit, announced the offer on Twitter on Friday.

Hemenway is the most recent 2019 shooting guard that Xavier has expressed interest in. Chris Mack and his staff have offered six players at that position in total, including Jalen Lecque, Bryan Antoine and Josh Nickelberry among others.
The Musketeers are not the only Big East program that has offered Hemenway. The Creighton Bluejays offered him last month. So, Xavier is now the second team from the conference to convey their interest, and it wouldn’t be surprising if more followed suit. They are the eighth program to send him an offer, joining Creighton as well as Evansville, IUPUI, Valparaiso, Belmont, Clemson and Nebraska.
As of now, Alex Hemenway is unranked by 247Sports and other recruiting services. That could of course change, given that it’s still pretty early in the 2019 recruiting cycle.
