Class of 2018 combo guard David Duke will be announcing his school of choice on Friday. Duke, a Top 50 player in his class, made this announcement on his personal Twitter account Wednesday evening.
I will be making my college decision this Friday

As per our own Mike Hopkins, the Providence Friars and Virginia Tech Hokies are the finalists for Duke. The Villanova Wildcats had been a player for him for a while. However, Duke cancelled his visit to ‘Nova recently. He visited Friartown this past weekend, a week after his visit to Blacksburg.
PC and Ed Cooley have been recruiting the Cushing Academy (MA) combo guard for quite a while now. Adding a player of his caliber would make their 2018 class one of the best around. A.J. Reeves, Jimmy Nichols and Kris Monroe are the trio of players currently in that touted class. Putting Duke in the mix would add the finishing touches to one of the best classes in recent memory for the Friars. 247Sports’ Class Calculator projects that Providence would have the best class in the Big East, leapfrogging Villanova’s.
David Duke ranks 48th overall among 2018 recruits. He ranks fifth among combo guards, and is the top player in the state of Rhode Island.
