Central Arkansas vs. Creighton: Halftime Notes

Dave Weaver-USA TODAY Sports

- The 1st half leader in points might surprise you, as Isaiah Zierden has scored 13 points through the first frame to lead all scorers for the Bluejays. Zierden has done so by hitting a barrage of 3-pointers, three to be precise, and has missed just one field goal attempt on six total for the game so far. Rick Kreklow and James Milliken, both of whom are new additions to the team this year, have each scored 11 points.

- Senior point guard Austin Chatman has done what's been asked of him so far, leading all players on either team in assists with four on the night so far. He's scored eight, but it's come on just as many attempts.

- The exciting Devin Brooks has scored six points and is a perfect 4-4 from the free throw line. He also has four rebounds, tied for the team high with big man Zach Hanson, and Kreklow as well.

- Meanwhile, Central Arkansas' Boo Milligan has scored 15 points in 14 minutes of action. He's 6-7 from the field, and has made both of his free throw attempts. Other than that, the pickens are slim for Central Arkansas, who has only shot 40.0 percent as a team on 30 attempts.
