Myles Powell and the Seton Hall Pirates are hoping to get back on track. The Pirates took a hard-luck loss to Cassius Winston and the Michigan State Spartans earlier this week. With that loss behind them, the Pirates are set to face the Saint Louis Billikens out in the Show Me State on Sunday afternoon.
The Pirates are looking to give SLU their first loss of the season. The Billikens have defeated the Florida Gulf Coast Eagles, Valparaiso Crusaders and Eastern Washington Eagles in their first three games of the year. Travis Ford’s team has scored at least 81 points in each of the three games, with the high being 89 in the opener over FGCU. They are primarily led by junior forwards Hasahn French and Javonte Perkins, as well as junior guard Jordan Goodwin and freshman Yuri Collins.
This has the potential to be a fun one in The Lou. Both offenses have been very fun to watch this year and of course, the Pirates are coming off a thriller themselves. They hope to be on the right side of the coin here, as a second loss before things get even tougher would certainly set them back.
