Creighton announced their 2017-18 nonconference schedule on Tuesday, adding to the Big East teams who’ve made their formal revealings for the upcoming college hoops season.
The highlights of the season include a trip to the Rosemont Horizon to face Northwestern for their first true road game of the season on November 15. In addition, the second (and only other) true road game for the Jays this coming season will be against Gonzaga. Gonzaga and Creighton, two terrific programs over the last 15-20 years, will meet for the first time ever on December 1 at The Kennel in Spokane.
As usual, Creighton will be playing in-state rival Nebraska, a rivalry encounter set to go down on December 9. Apart from that, they will be part of the 2017 CBE Classic, where Baylor, UCLA and Wisconsin will be taking part too.
The full schedule can be found in the link above.
