Georgetown offers two 2022 players

The Hoyas are saying busy on the recruiting trail

NCAA Basketball: Villanova at Georgetown Brad Mills-USA TODAY Sports

Patrick Ewing and the Georgetown coaching staff stayed busy on the recruiting trail Monday, extending offers to two 2022 players: Kamari Lands (Indianapolis, IN) and Favour Aire (District Heights, MD)

Following two seasons at Indiana’s La Lumiere, Lands will now be playing at California’s Prolific Prep alongside Memphis commit Arterio Morris and Stanford commit Isa Silva. The move should continue the development of the combo guard, who averaged 12.4 points and 4.5 rebounds per game for La Lumiere.

Lands’ name should be at least someone familiar to Big East fans, as his brother Jalen Coleman-Lands spent the past two seasons at DePaul.

Lands will likely be in high-demand in 2022, as he is already a top 40 player. Lands checks in at #38 on the 2022 247Sports composite rankings, and also holds offers from DePaul, Xavier, Texas Tech, and Syracuse.

Favour Aire would be a good pickup for the Hoyas, as Patrick Ewing has shown that he can develop big men, and having a player from the DMV is always a plus for Georgetown. The Hoyas will have plenty of competition for Aire, though, as he’s already picked up offers from Indiana, Seton Hall, UConn, Maryland, Louisville, Virginia Tech, and more.
