Grad transfer.
After originally playing for TCU in the 2015-16 season, Shreiner explored other options after Trent Johnson was fired.
Shreiner sat out a year and ended up at Cal State Northridge for the 2017-18 season, but found himself on the move again after Reggie Theus was fired.
After joining DePaul with immediate eligibility as a grad transfer, Shreiner saw the floor in 35 games in 2018-19, making two starts for the Blue Demons and averaging 2.0 points and 1.7 rebounds per game in 13 minutes of action.
DePaul’s added depth in the 2019-20 season make it hard for Shreiner to find a spot, and he didn’t appear in a game for the Blue Demons. He will have immediate eligibility at his new school.
