After starting his collegiate career at Cal and Kansas, Charlie Moore is coming home.

Moore began his career at Cal in 2016-17 and averaged 12.2 points and 3.5 assists per game, but opted to transfer after head coach Cuonzo Martin left Cal for Missouri. Moore wanted to be closer to home and ended up at Kansas, where he averaged 2.9 points per game and struggled for playing time last season. Moore was Illinois’ Mr. Basketball for 2016, one year after Jalen Brunson win the award.
Moore’s eligibility for next season is currently unknown. He will likely apply for a waiver allowing him to play immediately, otherwise he will have to sit out until 2020-21.
