The St. John’s Red Storm are going to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2015!
The Red Storm earned an at-large play-in bid after an up and down season that finished with the Johnnies on the bubble. They went 21-12 and picked up a decent amount of quality wins to make themselves a worthy of a tournament bid. They are among the four teams from the Big East to make the field of 68 this year, and will be looking to make a dent on the tournament’s proceedings.
St. John’s are an 11-seed in this year’s tournament, and will play the Arizona State Sun Devils this Wednesday in Dayton, OH as part of the First Four. Winner of this game will move on to play the 6-seeded Buffalo Bulls in Tulsa, OK on Friday.
