Did you miss yesterday’s NBA Summer League action? Wondering how your favorite former Big East players did? We’ve got you covered!
Omari Spellman - Atlanta Hawks
While all the attention was on Trae Young in the Hawks’ Summer League opener, Spellman had a nice night in the 103-88 loss to Memphis. The Big East Freshman of the Year totaled 11 points and six rebounds to go with two blocks, one of which you can see below.

Kelan Martin - Utah Jazz
Martin got the start for the Jazz and looked good in the 92-76 victory over the Spurs. In 26 minutes of action, he scored 13 points and grabbed eight rebounds.
Marcus Derrickson - Golden State Warriors
In what was surely the biggest news of the night for the Warriors, Marcus Derrickson played 14 minutes off the bench in their 79-68 win over the Miami Heat. Derrickson had six points and three rebounds
Josh Hart - Los Angeles Lakers
Hart had himself a night in the loss to the Kings, scoring 23 points in 33 minutes, hitting a buzzer beater to end the first half, and getting ejected late in the fourth quarter after picking up his second technical foul. You don’t see too many players get ejected from a Summer League game.
