For the second straight year, the Florida State Seminoles are the only thing standing between the Xavier Musketeers and the Sweet 16.

Things are a little different this year though. Last year, Xavier was an 11-seed and still trying to figure things out and FSU was a three.

This year, the Musketeers are a #1 seed and FSU, a team that lost a lot of the talent that made them a 3 last year, are down on the 8-seed line. They took care of business against an undermanned Missouri squad on Friday night.

Xavier took care of business against the #16-seeded Texas Southern. Trevon Bluiett, JP Macura, and Kerem Kanter combined for 79 points. If they do that again, they’ll be hard to stop.
