Marquette vs. Harvard, 2018 NIT Tournament: Time, TV channel, watch online, preview

The Golden Eagles will take a stab at the Crimson.

While the Marquette Golden Eagles didn’t make the NCAA Tournament, they still have plenty to play for. They’ll have a chance to face their old rival, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, down the line in the NIT, but first things first. The #2 seed Golden Eagles have to focus on the Harvard Crimson.

More likely than not, you know about Marquette by now. Led by Andrew Rowsey, Markus Howard, and Sam Hauser (Rowsey and Howard are the only Big East teammates both in the top 5 in the conference in scoring), the Golden Eagles have one of the nation’s best scoring attacks. They likely would have been in the NCAA Tournament had the bubble not went haywire in the final weekend and had they not lost to the DePaul Blue Demons in conference play.

Marquette should be happy to continue their season though. Tommy Amaker’s Crimson bring a tough challenge to the Al McGuire Center. The Crimson went 18-13 and had a nice 1-2 scoring punch of their own with Seth Towns (16.0 PPG) and Bryce Aiken (14.1 PPG), we could be in for an offensive explosion in Milwaukee.
