After picking up victories over Boise State and Georgia State to open their week in the Cayman Islands, the Creighton Bluejays will look to bring home the gold as they square off against the Clemson Tigers Wednesday evening at 6:30 CT
How to watch, stream, or listen
That’s right! It’s 2018 and a college basketball tournament isn’t available on television. Remember when Creighton went to the Virgin Islands a couple years ago and those games weren’t on TV either? Yup. Same thing.
You can stream it though! It’s available on Stadium. You can also listen to the game on KOZN or KOZN Online.
Well, this is what it was always going to be. If you looked at the field for the Cayman Islands Classic, it was clear that Clemson and Creighton stood out above the rest.
Neither team has been tested too much this week. Creighton’s average margin of victory in it’s two games is 18.5 points. Clemson’s is nine, but that’s skewed by a garbage time rally from Akron which brought the game from a 15-point affair with eight minutes left to the ultimate three point game it ended up being.
The young upstart Bluejays have their hands full against a Clemson team led by three seniors. The Tigers are the 44th-most experienced team in the country per KenPom. Creighton is #296 in that category, as you may expect considering who they lost from last season.
As is often the case with teams with that sort of roster continuity, Clemson doesn’t have many flaws. Creighton’s best hope is to get hot from beyond the arc and let it fly, and perhaps they can return to Omaha with a shiny new trophy after a 3-0 week.
