The Georgetown Hoyas (3-1) look to leave Jamaica with a split, as they face off with the South Florida Bulls (3-0) Sunday afternoon.
HOW TO WATCH
Time: Noon ET
TV: CBS Sports Network
Watch Online: You can watch CBSSN if you subscribe to Optimum and a couple other providers. Otherwise, welp, unfortunately the network isn’t heavily streamed.
Georgetown didn’t look particularly good in their loss to Loyola Marymount on Friday evening, but they get a chance to redeem themselves Sunday against a South Florida team that is 3-0, but hasn’t really played anyone of note (their best win came against Ohio, ranked #169 on KenPom).
Additionally, South Florida joined the American Athletic Conference in 2013-14.
Below, you will see their record by year.
2013-14: 12-20
2014-15: 9-23
2015-16: 8-25
2016-17: 7-23
2018-19: 10-22
Georgetown did, however, fall to the Bulls in their final meeting as Big East foes. USF picked up a 61-58 victory in January 2013 over the Hoyas, so perhaps this will be a revenge game. Or perhaps I’m just trying to find a storyline in a game where Georgetown should romp to victory.
