Gamblin’ Info
Providence opened as a 1.5 point favorite but the game has gotten down to a pick ‘em at most places, likely due to Kyron Cartwright’s day to day status. The over/under is set at 151.

Preview
Two of the Big East’s most intriguing teams go to battle Wednesday evening in Friartown, with one big question off the bat: Will Kyron Cartwright play? Cartwright sprained his ankle against Stony Brook December 17, returned for the Friars’ Big East opener against St. John’s (and had a career-high 15 assists), then re-injured the ankle Sunday against Creighton. He’s listed as day-to-day, so it’s likely that he’ll give it a go, but as shown in the St. John’s game, Cartwright is a huge difference maker when he’s 100%.
On the other side, Andrew Rowsey and Markus Howard are still #1 and #2 in the Big East in scoring, something that has never been done before. To have two players averaging over 20 points per game makes an offense that much more potent. It’s even deadlier when Sam Hauser gets hot from outside. Before you know it, Marquette has 55-60 points from just three players. Providence’s three-point defense has been excellent this year, though. If it can continue Wednesday, they can likely take the Golden Eagles down.
