This is certainly a development for Hauser and Marquette, as having him enrolled early will allow him to have the chance to get familiarized with the team. Given that he’s already one of the top players in the country in 2018, any added wealth the Golden Eagles could get by having Joey Hauser around the program would behoove them greatly.
Joey, the brother of sophomore star Sam Hauser, is one of the most exciting prospects in his class. The Stevens Point native ranks 45th nationally via 247Sports Composite and 43rd on 247Sports’ standalone rankings. He is the second-ranked player in the state of Wisconsin behind Kentucky Wildcats commit Tyler Herro.
