It’s finally here!
After months of anticipation (and a week-long delay) the Big East announced the 2017-18 conference schedule on Tuesday morning, and it’s a doozy!
Here’s the full schedule from the conference.
Some of the highlights include:
- Villanova and Xavier, both of whom should be ranked in the Top 15 to start the season and likely to open Big East play meeting up for the first time on Wednesday, January 10 at the Wells Fargo Center.
- DePaul’s first conference game in the brand-new Wintrust Arena on Wednesday, December 27 where they’ll face Villanova.
- Chris Mullin and Patrick Ewing meet up for the first time as college coaches on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 when Georgetown and St. John’s square off at Madison Square Garden.
- Marquette’s final game at the BMO Harris Bradley Center on March 3, 2018 against Creighton.
Is this the year Seton Hall or Xavier usurp Villanova? How will Butler rebound from its busy offseason? How will Creighton replace Justin Patton’s production?
While we still don’t know the answers to these questions, we now know the dates on which we’ll come closer to knowing the answers!
