NBA Summer League Day 5: Big East recap

The grind continues.

NBA: Detroit Pistons-Media Day Raj Mehta-USA TODAY Sports

Summer League action continued on Wednesday!

How did your favorite former Big East players do?

Henry Ellenson

Ellenson continues to impress, as he led the Pistons in scoring again with 29 points in their 87-82 victory over the Charlotte Hornets. Ellenson has scored in double digits in all four of Detroit’s Summer League games.

Semaj Christon

Christon had 16 points and eight assists in Oklahoma City’s 96-75 loss to Dwight Buycks and the Dallas Mavericks. The former Xavier guard continues to see a lot of playing time and looks likely to make the OKC roster again.

Dylan Ennis

Christon’s teammate on the Thunder, Ennis struggled a bit. He recorded nine points on 2-8 shooting, but did grab five rebounds.

Dwight Buycks

As noted above, Buycks was on the victorious side of the Thunder/Mavs matchup. The former Marquette guard had 11 points in 24 minutes of action.

Kellen Dunham

After back to back DNPs, Dunham saw action for the Orlando Magic. Nearly six minutes of action, in fact. He took one three and missed it. The Magic won, 84-73.

Reggie Cameron

Cameron recorded his third straight DNP-Coach’s Decision for the Magic.

Ben Bentil

DNP-CD, San Antonio Spurs

Darryl Reynolds

DNP-CD, Philadelphia 76ers
