Let’s take a look.
Butler nonconference schedule
Date | Game |
---|---|
Date | Game |
November 10 | Kennesaw State |
November 12 | Princeton |
November 15 | @ Maryland |
November 18 | Furman |
November 23 | Texas (PK80) |
November 24 | Duke/Portland State (PK80) |
November 26 | TBD (PK80) |
December 2 | Saint Louis |
December 5 | Utah |
December 9 | Youngstown State |
December 16 | Purdue (Bankers Life Fieldhouse) |
December 19 | Morehead State |
December 21 |
Obviously there are a few highlights here. The Gavitt Games matchup with Maryland should be a blast, despite the Terps losing Melo Trimble to the NBA. PK80 will be one of the best Feast Week tournaments of all time, and the Utah and Purdue games should be solid tests.
The Bulldogs always play strong nonconference schedules, and it generally works out for them. It’ll also be interesting to see if they can continue their nonconference home winning streak. Butler has won 34 straight nonconference games at Hinkle Fieldhouse.
