On Monday, DePaul offered class of 2019 four-star shooting guard Casey Morsell. Jesse Dougherty was first to report:
Casey Morsell (@CaseyMorsell, 2019 guard) was just offered by Depaul, his coach tells me. @CoachBehanSJC @TTOBasketball #allmets

Morsell is the top-ranked player in Washington D.C. for the class of 2019, rated 199th overall in America and 36th at his position. His 1st-place ranking among D.C. recruits as of now puts him ahead of three-star Ed Jarvis, a power forward at Sidwell Friends School. Morsell meanwhile is an attendee of St. John’s College High School, the same school where Maryland point guard Anthony Cowan, Rhode Island combo guard Jeff Dowtin and Georgetown guard Tre Campbell attended.
DePaul is the latest to offer Morsell, who currently has offers from 13 schools after the Blue Demons and Cincinnati joined in on Monday. Temple, South Florida, VCU, Virginia Tech and George Washington are among those currently in on the 6-foot-2, 175-pound shooting guard.
