On July 1, 2013, the Big East become the conference as we know it today, officially adding Butler, Creighton, and Xavier.
In the time since, each school has made the NCAA Tournament multiple times, with Xavier making multiple Sweet 16s.
With all that in mind, what do the conference’s other fans think of the three additions? We asked the question on our Twitter account this afternoon.
Perfect additions. Great fans, coaches and winning cultures.

Great move for the 3 new schools. Xavier gained a ton of national attention and were recognized as a top 5 team 2 years ago.

The move elevated the programs, and they have in turn, elevated the conference. Programs who prioritized growth and success have earned it.

About the only group that's been disappointed with what has happened in the Big East is ESPN...and it projects #2 for a Year 5. @kenpomeroy

Hard to argue with the results. 3 really high quality CBB programs. Win-win for all involved.

Great additions. They all play great basketball and have the schools and fans to back it up.

LOL, that's a clown answer, bro.

But seriously, all three have been great additions. It'd get boring if Villanova won literally every game.
my thoughts is who are cuse, uconn, and Pitt anyway.

There you have it. As noted above, it’s tough to argue with the results, but it’s nice to see fans of other schools be able to recognize the positive impact the three additions have had on the conference.
