In case you missed it, the now former Butler Bulldogs head coach Chris Holtmann filled the vacancy for the Ohio State Buckeyes on Friday morning.
With the head coach gone, the next question as it pertains to BU will be the status on their incoming recruits. The Bulldogs have five of them coming into the fold for 2017, and one has apparently already gone on record that he will remain a ‘Dawg.
Per David Woods of the Indianapolis Star, Jerald Gillens-Butler, a three-star point guard from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, has reaffirmed his commitment.
BREAKING: One of #Butler's five incoming signees, Jerald Gillens-Butler (new last name), says he still plans to enroll at Butler.

Butler was officially signed back on November 9, 2016 after committing on August 12.
So far, there’s no word on what the other four commits intend on doing. Those being three-star Cooper Neese, three-star Aaron Thompson, three-star Christian David and four-star Kyle Young. Young may be one to watch, as the Massillon, Ohio native had chosen the Bulldogs over Ohio State back when he made his commitment on August 29.
