Chris Mack selling house, not moving to Columbus

When Ohio State and Thad Matta parted ways Monday afternoon, Xavier head coach Chris Mack’s name naturally popped up in the coaching rumors, as it does for every job that opens.

The rumors seemed to gain a bit of steam when various Twitter folks noted that Mack’s house was on the market.

Wednesday afternoon, though, Mack seemingly put the rumors to bed with a tweet of his own.

So, that just about settles that. The rumor was always a bit far-fetched in the first place, as Mack would be leaving a likely preseason top 10-15 team for a rebuilding job at Ohio State, but you know how the rumor mill works by now.
