Keita will be sitting out the 2017-18 season before jumping in next fall. He has three years of eligibility after exhausting one down in Columbia this past season, playing a part in South Carolina’s shocking run to the Final Four in Glendale.
With the Gamecocks, Keita averaged 1.1 points, 2.0 rebounds and 0.4 blocks per game while playing just 9.6 minutes per contest. One should expect that he’ll receive more playing time when the 2018-19 season rolls around.
