In what turned into a bit of a foregone conclusion in the days leading up to today, 2018 four-star forward Marcus Bingham has committed to Michigan State over Michigan, Butler, Purdue, and others.
Bingham announced his commitment on his Twitter account.

It was a bit of a longshot for Bingham to land with Butler given the coaching staff changes over the past few weeks, so it’s no real surprise that the Grand Rapids, Michigan big man chose to stay close to home.
While Butler won’t have Bingham or Kelan Martin playing power forward in 2018, they still have Joey Brunk and Nate Fowler on the roster, plus three scholarships.
So, the Bulldogs will be just fine.
