Class of 2018 forward Cole Swider is set to make his commitment on Friday.
Swider’s coach, Mike Hart of St. Andrew’s School in Rhode Island, made the announcement on his Twitter on Wednesday.
@coleswider21 college commitment announcement will be held in Sage Gym @standrewsri on Friday, June 30, 2017 at 3:30pm.— Michael Hart (@CoachMikeHart) June 28, 2017
@coleswider21 to pick from: Xavier, Syracuse, Villanova and Duke. @jpsmollins @NickCoit @KevinMcNamara33 @BillKoch25 @AdamFinkelstein— Michael Hart (@CoachMikeHart) June 28, 2017
As stated above, and as had been previously mentioned, Swider’s final four includes the Duke Blue Devils, Syracuse Orange, Villanova Wildcats and Xavier Musketeers. Swider had completed his visits recently, and obviously now believes that it’s decision time.
For whatever it may be worth, Duke is the favorite to land him per his Crystal Ball. However, no prediction has been made for Swider’s future since June 19, so all hope may not be lost for Jay Wright or Chris Mack.
