Hagans, listed as a five-star on 247Sports’ recruiting service, is one of the top players in the country. Via 247’s service, he’s the top-ranked player in the state of Georgia, the second-best point guard in 2019 behind Archbishop Molloy’s Cole Anthony, and ranked 12th overall.
By their Composite Rankings, he’s listed as a four-star player, but isn’t too far off those marks. He’s ranked second in Georgia behind Holy Spirit Prep’s Anthony Edwards, listed as the fifth-best point guard in the country and 22nd overall in America.
As you might expect, plenty of high-majors have given Hagans attention. Kentucky, for instance, is in pursuit and right now leads the Crystal Ball through five predictions. Kansas, UConn, Auburn, Alabama and Baylor are among those chasing after the 6-foot-4, 185-pound point guard originally from Covington, Georgia, and plenty more are likely to come.
We’ll see if Chris Mullin and his staff can make a play for Hagans going forward.
